The Colombian singer Shakira will be presented in Bogota on 12 March next year as part of a family concert tour called “Shakira & pop”, which also involved the Mexican group Belanova, reported the newspaper “El Tiempo”. Organizers said the Colombian newspaper that the artist planned a series of recitals devoted to family, to which children may attend from the seven years since it was held in the afternoon. The idea of the popular artist will also be taken to Mexico, Paraguay, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela, among other countries.

“It is an idea conceived by it. There is a curator in each country, as well as an art show, is a five-year project,” said Juan Arbelaez, Evenpro company spokesperson, organizer of the activity.

In Bogota, the concert will be held at Simon Bolivar Park and will last for seven hours, from 13:00 local time (18:00 GMT) on 12 March. The show will also participate in the Colombian capital Belanova, elected in 2008 for Best Artist at the MTV Awards North America.

Joining them will be the Colombian band Bomba Stereo and Train American trio, renowned for the success of songs like “Drops of Jupiter”, “Calling All Angels” and “Hey, soul sister”
