Heading home after closing down the bar, Shakira and beau Gerard Pique were spotted leaving a Miami Beach nightclub in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The Colombian songstress and her central defender boyfriend were looking a little tired as they left the South Florida hotspot – departing around the posh hangout around 4 a.m. with a mass of security surrounding the hard-partying twosome.

In related news, Gerard has taken to social media to fault the couple’s recent white-water rafting snafu solely on his “Waka Waka” girlfriend, tweeting, “Because of Shakira’s lack of synchronization paddling, we all fell off the raft!!”

The pair were on a holiday with friends when their rapid-riding quickly came to a halt as their raft capsized.

Shakira & Gerard Pique snapped after Bercy show

Fresh from her great performance at Bercy Arena, Shakira was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris, France on Wednesday.

The “Rabiosa” songstress was joined by her beau Gerard Pique as she arrived at the Bourget Airport to catch an outgoing flight.

In business news, Shakira recently launched her second fragrance, called “S by Shakira Eau Florale.”

Described as a “more gentle and romantic” take on her first scent, Shakira told press, “I wanted to find a way to express the feeling of pure happiness through the medium of fragrance.”

She certainly knows how to draw in viewers, and Shakira has done it again with her third single, “Rabiosa.”

In the song’s newly-released video, the “She Wolf” songstress sports a short, dark and sexy ‘do as she throws a party, attracts a cute boy and pole dances in some black lingerie.

The upbeat track features Pitbull and is off of her latest album “Sale El Sol.”

Shakira’s long-time director, Jaume de Laiguana, who shot her Loca and Sale El Sol videos, also helmed the latest offering which was put together in Barcelona, Spain.

Shakira over 30 million friends and ranking 10th on Twitter

Colombian-born singer Shakira has become the latest recording artist to accumulate over 30 million friends on Facebook.

The singer passed the 30 million mark on May 26 and in a show of gratitude uploaded a video on Facebook thanking her fans for making her one of only a handful of musicians to gain over 30 million friends on the social networking site.

Over the week ending May 23, Shakira attracted attention when she pushed talk show host Oprah out of tenth place on Twitter’s “top ten most followed” charts.

American rapper Eminem became the first person to hit the 30 million friend mark on March 10; currently the rapper has more Facebook friends (37,279,306) than any other person, living or dead.

As of May 27 other musicians with over 30 million friends include Lady Gaga (35,451,406), Rihanna (34,269,822) and Michael Jackson (33,651,096).

Shakira considering album in Arabic

Colombian pop singer Shakira said today that she would one day like to sing pop songs, if not an entire album, in Arabic.

The native Spanish speaker, who also has global hits in English, was speaking at a news conference in Morocco, where she was headlining the Mawazine World Rhythms music festival.

“It would be a challenge to do an album in Arabic. I would first have to learn Arabic,” she said. “I am completely open to that experience. … At some point I would love that to happen in my life.”

Born in Colombia of Syrian origin, Shakira said she grew up listening to the Arab world’s premier divas of the 20th century, Egyptian Umm Kalthum and Lebanese Fairuz.

Shakira often uses eastern dance, also known as belly dancing, in her acts, and her hit Spanish language single “Ojas Asi” relies heavily on a Middle Eastern melody. Her eastern origins and musical influences have made her popular throughout the Middle East.

She admitted, however, that she only speaks a few words of Arabic, including “ateeni boosa” or give me a kiss, provoking laughter among the mostly Moroccan crowd of journalists.

Morocco’s 10th-annual Mawazine festival of world music concluded Saturday after eight days of music that saw bands from 60 countries, including Kanye West, Lionel Ritchie, Egypt’s Amr Diab and Senegal’s Youssou N’Dour.

Enrique Iglesias and Shakira are top winners at Billboard Latin Music Awards

The Billboard Latin Music Awards brought a splash of pop glamour to BankUnited Center in Coral Gables on Thursday night.

The top two contenders going into the awards were the big winners coming out of them. Enrique Iglesias, the perpetual prince of Latin pop, came away with nine awards, including those for Latin Artist of the Year and Latin Album of the Year. Just behind him was Shakira, with six trophies, including awards for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Female, and Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female.

The Billboard awards honor the top-selling Latin artists (Album awards) and those whose music is played most frequently on the radio (Song awards), as measured by sales and airplay charts in Billboard magazine. The event, broadcast live on Miami-based Telemundo, is one of the Spanish-language network’s biggest shows of the year.

Winners were concentrated among a small group, with just 17 artists taking home prizes out of 55 nominated. Other big winners were pop-reggaeton singer Prince Royce and bachata-R&B group Aventura, with four awards each; while pop rockers Camila, reggaeton star Daddy Yankee and veteran merengue-pop star Juan Luis Guerra each earned three.

Miami’s Gloria Estefan was honored with the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award, which recognizes charitable and philanthropic achievement, for her work with the Gloria Estefan Foundation.

Pique and Shakira are making out at Barcelona matches now

First we saw that Shakira reacts to watching Gerard Pique play for Barcelona in a losing effort like being in real kidney pain. Now we see that she reacts to watching Barcelona win by his side by attacking him with public displays of affection.

The mix between Pique and Shakira’s relationship and football clearly produces manic swings in the singer’s emotions and this was once again on show during Barcelona’s 2-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday. While an unselected Pique sat between his ladyfriend and Carles Puyol in the stands, the two celebrated Barca’s rediscovered dominance by sucking face like they weren’t surrounded by old men in suits.

Shakira couldn’t have looked any happier as she went for a romantic lunch with boyfriend Gerard Pique in Barcelona today.

The Colombian singer looked stunning in an all-white outfit of a vest top and floaty linen trousers, which she accessorised with a pair of tan heeled sandals and a beaming smile.

Hand-in-hand with footballer player Pique, Shakira appeared entirely content and loved-up as the pair grabbed some food in the Spanish city.

The 34-year-old singer finally confirmed her relationship with 24-year-old Pique last month when she posed a romantic picture of the couple on Twitter.

The snap shows the smiling pair in front of a beach setting with the sun beaming down on them and their arms wrapped around each other, with the simple message: ‘I present to you my sunshine.’ How cute…

Shakira and Pique became the focus of intense media attention earlier this month when gossip magazines published photographs of the couple holding hands and kissing in Barcelona.

Shakira announced at the start of the year that her 11-year relationship with lawyer Antonio de la Rua, 37, the eldest son of the former Argentinian premier, amid rumours that he had been cheating on her.

And in February last month, Pique , who plays for FC Barcelona, uploaded a photograph from his birthday on February 2 of himself and the Colombian singer celebrating with friends.

The singer first met Pique last spring while shooting the video to her song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) – the official track of the 2010 World Cup.

Barcelona-based newspaper El Periodico de Catalunya claimed they had a string of secret encounters following their initial meeting.

However, Shakira previously dismissed reports of a romance.

At a press conference in Barcelona she described the claims as a ‘waka-rumour’ and added: ‘You shouldn’t take any notice of waka-rumours.’

Pique was also quick to deny that they were lovers, telling reporters last month: ‘We’re just friends. There’s nothing more to it.’

But in February, the pair were spotted holding hands as they left a restaurant in Barcelona.

Shakira’s ring stolen off her hand

During a Shakira concert in Monterrey, Mexico the Colombian superstar got more than she bargained for after a fan reached out to shake her hand snatched her ring.

The viral video shows the grab-and-go and Shakira’s sad reaction after she realized that her ring was missing.

Body guards or staff members can be seen following Shakira but it appears from the video that they did not notice the concert robbery.

There is also no word on the value of the missing ring or whether the ring had any special meaning to the singer-perhaps maybe from her soccer-star boyfriend Gerard Piqué?

No arrests have been made and the concert, at the University of Monterrey, was her last performance of her Mexico tour.

Shakira donates $400,900 to build Haiti school

Our lovely Shakira has donated $400,900 to rebuild a school damaged in an earthquake in Haiti.

The ” Hips Don’t Lie” hitmaker had pledged to rebuild the Elie Dubois school in Port-au-Prince shortly after the disaster hit the country in January 2010. Her Barefoot Foundation will team up with the Architecture for Humanity charity in the endeavour.

“I’m convinced the key to achieve a dignified future for the Haitian people is through education,” she was quoted saying.

“I’d like to say to the girls that this is an enormous opportunity that life is offering you – education. So make the most of it because I’m sure you can achieve any of your dreams,” she said.

Shakira visited Haiti earlier this week and announced a deal with the Inter-American Development Bank, which will match her donation to rebuild the education facility.
